These 1940s workwear trousers are a truly exceptional piece. Not only are they in nearly immaculate condition but they also look great. They are made from heavy wool and are therefore perfectly suited for winter. They feature a subtle pattern, which gives the trousers even more texture. Adding to that, they are fully handmade and the quality is stunning.  

Pieces like this serve as inspiration for designers like Paul Harnden, Archivio J.M Ribot, Geoffrey B. Small or John Alexander Skelton. This trouser is especially reminiscent of Skelton designs, which may also be partly due to the possibility of wearing it with suspenders.
