Boris Bidjan Saberi is a German/Persian designer, who launched his eponymous label in 2007 and is now based in Barcelona. Today, Boris is one of the most respected avant-garde designers in the world and is known for his revolutionary use of fabric, his extremely high quality, and his signature slim silhouette. Heavy black parkas are a classic in his collections and have been available in countless variations from multiple seasons. This one is from his Fall Winter 2016 collection and the ParkaI FI1944 model.

It is made from durable waxed cotton which will age beautifully and give the piece a unique used look. This is paired with a warm lining that can be removed. Therefore, the parka is basically suitable for year-round usage. As usual with pieces from Boris, the fit is rather slim and long.

The quality of the parka is stunning. It is completely handmade in Spain, the zips are from RiRi and all the silver details are indeed sterling silver. It had a retail price of 1873 Euros.
