This stunning shirt was featured on the runway in Comme des Garcons Homme Plus´ Spring/ Summer collection 2003 as look 1. It has a black coating effect throughout which is intended to wear off over time. Effects like this that shape a garment individually through personal wear can often be found in Rei Kawakubo´s collections. The intention here is that although those pieces are expensive, they are still made to be worn and through wear and tear, the buyer can have a unique piece.

The shirt has a wide and slightly oversized cut. Thanks to that, the sleeves can easily be rolled up to show the contrasting lining. Adding to that, the shirt also has contrasting white mother-of-pearl buttons. The quality is, as always with Homme Plus, exceptional.
