This turtleneck is a classic in the Raf Simons catalog. Simple turtlenecks with the stitched "R" first appeared in Raf's earliest collections in the late 90s. Since then, there have been countless variations in multiple seasons. Some feature the "R" on the collar, and some have it on the chest. This version is of the latter kind. The fit of those sweaters is always snug, making them a perfect layering piece. Over the years, these tops have lost nothing of their appeal and continue to be a favourite among collectors.

This specific sweater is from one of Raf´s most celebrated collections, the Fall/Winter 2003 "closer" collection, which included a lot of what are now his most iconic garments.
