Geoffrey B. Small founded his label in Boston in 1979 and has since relocated his studio to a small town in Italy, where every piece is still fully handmade using centuries-old local techniques. Designers such as John Alexander Skelton, Archivio J.M. Ribot, Ziggy Chen, and Uma Wang have cited him as an influence, and his standard of quality remains virtually unmatched in the fashion world — each piece is handmade from the most luxurious materials, arguably making his work some of the finest clothing produced anywhere.
This particular piece is a single-breasted, 3-button blazer with peak lapels, two front pockets, and one chest pocket, made from a patchwork of hand-washed Biella Super 120's extra-fine Tasmanian wool in varying patterns. It features working cuffs and can be fully buttoned up. From the Fall/Winter 2020/2021 collection, it is one of only 35 pieces made and still comes with its original papers.
