Carol Christian Poell, who was born in Austria in 1966, lives and works in Milan, where he started his clothing brand in 1995. He does not work within the classic fashion cycle but rather produces and shows when he feels like it. Poell, who has developed a cult around himself, is widely considered one of the most important and influential designers in the avant-garde and artisanal fashion world. Especially his use of leather and tailoring are revolutionary and highly desirable among collectors. 

This long-sleeved top is a very rare Poell piece in the also rare color 6, which translates to light green. In reality, it is something between grey and green. The individual Poell code is TM/2286 SIP-PTC/6 and it is from the spring 2007 male collection.
