Carol Christian Poell, who was born in Austria in 1966, lives and works in Milan, where he started his clothing brand in 1995. He does not work within the classic fashion cycle but rather produces and shows when he feels like it. Poell, who has developed a cult following around himself, is widely considered one of the most important and influential designers in the avant-garde and artisanal fashion world. Especially his use of leather and tailoring are revolutionary and highly desirable among collectors.
This extremely rare coat is one of the greatest CCP pieces we ever had the pleasure to offer. It is a single-breasted long coat with anatomical elbows, finished in the most beautiful dark grey color and featuring the iconic tape seams on the inside. Adding to that, this piece is still brand new and never worn, the stitching sealing the buttonholes inside is still mainly intact.
The individual Poell code is GM2317 DICHT/11 and it is from the Fall/Winter 2007 collection. It still comes with its original rice bag and metal tag.
