Collaborations between Junya Watanabe and various shoemakers, most notably New Balance, have a long tradition. There are countless shoes and variants available. This sought-after pair dates back to 2019. Back then, the shoes retailed for around 300 Euros but all pairs are long sold out.
This pair is a blue, grey, and white iteration of New Balances classic 990v5 series. These shoes are known to be extremely comfortable and durable. As usual with Junya Watanabe products, the quality of the piece is better than that of a normal pair of New Balances.
