In 1996 Maurizio Altieri founded the now legendary Carpe Diem. Although the label went defunct after 10 years, it remains relevant today not only due to its continued popularity, but also through a series of brands established by the label’s original four designers, such as A1923, Label Under Construction, or Ma+.

Carpe Diem pioneered a variety of designs that are now staples in the avant-garde fashion world, such as drop-crotches, twisted seams, and J-cut trousers to only name a few. Today, they are specifically known for their high-quality leather footwear. All their pieces are always fully hand-made from natural materials.

This beautiful pair of brown suede derbies has new leather laces since the original Carpe Diem shoelaces have not survived. Apart from that, they are basically in brand-new condition.
