For his Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Dries van Noten used various all-over prints of Alexander the Great (the important ancient conqueror) on his garments. This collection is celebrated as one of Dries van Noten's best ones and the pieces, especially those with the prints, are highly desirable. 

This specific shirt is one of the already mentioned pieces with an Alexander print. Those are very rare, especially the long-sleeved versions. This shirt was also featured on the runway. It is made from pure Linen, which makes it very comfortable and flowy. The all-over print has an aged look to it, which creates a more muted and timeless look.
