This piece was featured on the runway of Ann Demuelemeesters´ Fall Winter 2009 show. It is, in typical Ann D fashion, a romantic take on a classic cummerbund (a type of belt worn with formal attire around the belly area). On the front, it features an incredibly detailed silk black-on-black cross pattern, and the backside is made from luxurious wool, which makes the piece very comfortable to wear. The button closure can be closed in different ways. As consequence, the cummerbund offers multiple styling possibilities. All in all, this super rare piece is a must-have for every collector and fan of the work of Ann Demeulemeester.
