Deepti was founded by the German-Argentinian designer Deepti Barth in 2012 and presented its first collection in Paris in 2014. Before she founded her own label, Deepti Barth studied at Camberwell College of Arts and Central Saint Martins in London. After completing her MA in 2005, she worked as a designer for Carol Christian Poell from 2005 to 2012.

Today, her brand is known for combining experimental techniques and fabrics with elements of traditional tailoring. Her pieces are very rare and only sold in small quantities at selected stores.

This specific jacket dates back to Deepti´s 015 collection and is still brand new with tags. It is a classic suit jacket in style J-001 and Color 925. It features two symmetrical pockets up front and slim lapels. The whole jacket is plated with real sterling silver which gives the piece a truly unique look. As a consequence of the natural oxidation process that occurs to the silver, the look of the jacket will change over time.
