This stunning piece is from the Japanese avant-garde label Individual Sentiments, which was founded in 2009 by designer Yoko Ito. In their own words, the brand combines "Japanese conceptualism with precise Italian tailoring." The quality of this coat and garments from Individual Sentiments in general is always exceptional.

This special piece has a truly unique look since it features a visible cotton lining, which is longer than the outside fabric and therefore always visible. The loose lining offers countless styling possibilities since it can for example be turned up, rolled up or hidden away in the sleeve. Adding to that, the coat features an oversized hood, an interesting pattern on the outside fabric and an unusual closure system, using a hook and buttons. All in all, the meticulous attention to detail of the Japanese brand is definitely visible.

The coat dates back to Individual Sentiments Fall Winter 2010/2011 collection and is still in pristine condition. It comes with its original tags and a beautiful card that explains the philosophy of the brand.
