This stunning jacket comes straight from the runway of Junya Watanabe's Spring Summer 2006 collection. It was featured as look 36.
It is a classic workwear jacket in black with subtle red and green stripes. It features three pockets up front and an additional three on the inside for added practicality. As usual with Junya pieces, the fit is rather slim and long. The jacket has an unusual closing system that consists of black plastic buttons as well as silver Junya-Watanabe-branded metal ones.
The Japanese designer loves to rework classic workwear and military garments and variations of those can be found in nearly all of his collections. This specific piece is a rather classic and wearable one, which will make for a great day-to-day piece.
