Label Under Construction was founded in Perugia, Italy, in 2003 by Luca Laurini, who used to work as a knitwear developer for Maurizio Altieri's Carpe Diem. Today, his brand is known for creating some of the most technically accomplished pieces of clothing in the world. Most of their pieces are finished in monochrome colors, using some of the most complex ways of production in the industry, like lasers or embroidery seams. As a consequence, most Label Under Construction pieces are fully reversible. There is never any kind of branding on the pieces and all the information about the garment is only on the tag which needs to be removed before wearing.
This specific piece is an easy-to-wear grey t-shirt with an interesting asymmetrical stripe design at the front, in which the black elements are not printed but rather stitched on in a different fabric. Adding to that, the piece has a rather long and relaxed fit and features raw hems. The fabric is very light and the T-shirt is therefore super comfortable to wear.
