This stunning coat is from the Scottish avant-garde label P.R. Patterson, which was founded by Phillip Patterson in 2012. Today, it is based in Glasgow and produces all of its pieces in England. The designs are inspired by Scotland’s rich textile history and the designer is solely working with local mills to produce bespoke fabrics, which are then treated further in his studio. Patterson mainly draws inspiration from historical and antique garments. His pieces are always only produced in small quantities and are very hard to find.

This specific piece is a single-breasted black coat. It has a rather slim fit and is intended to fit snugly to the body. It features a truly stunning wide collar that can of course also be turned up. It furthermore features hidden working cuffs at the sleeves and two pockets up front. The quality of the coat is incredible.
