This outstanding piece dates back to the Spring Summer 1990 collection of Comme des Garcons Homme Plus. Menswear from that period is very rare and sought-after. 

This shirt incorporates the romantic motive of flowers into its design. Flowers and especially roses are very prominent in Rei Kawakubo´s work. She used them ever since and some of Comme´s most important collections and pieces have some kind of use of flowers. 

This specific shirt stands out due to its sleeves. This subtle yet striking detail, meaning the double-layered sleeves with the rose print shimmering through the white layer is absolutely outstanding. Combined with the ultra-light and super flowy material, this shirt is one of the all-time greats from Comme des Garcons.
